Thinking about learning improv? You’ve come to the right place! Jackpie runs Atlanta’s only Long-form Improv Training School. Our five-level training program is perfect for those with no prior experience all the way up to the seasoned improv veteran.
About Level One: This class covers improv theater and long-form basics such as play-writing dialogue, the director’s eye, listening skills, and give-and-take. Solo and partnered exercises help students develop honest, fleshed-out characters and prepare them for the strange new world of Long-form Improv and Spontaneous Theatre.

* Each class meets once a week for three hours. Each session is eight weeks long.

Standup Comedy Class with Jarrod Harris

Jarrod recently made his Comedy Central debut and was a finalist in the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition, Boston International Comedy Festival, and a favorite at the Detroit Comedy Festival. Jarrod also hosted the first annual Laughing Skull Festival and currently headlines all over the US, and performs regularly on the top shows in LA and NYC. Jarrod has worked with Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, Patton Oswalt, Ron White, and Lewis Black plus too many more to fit in this space. Jarrod currently writes and develops television and film scripts with some of the biggest names in the business. Come learn stand-up from a comedian that is currently working with some of the best in the industry.
